The process
A member of the Chroma collection, this exceptionally difficult, top-secret painting process took nearly five years of trial and error before perfecting the head-turning chromatic look. For Interstellar, Project One designers took this complex paint process a step further by implementing an all-new logo technique.
Using a transparent decal material, the painters were able to create a dichroic effect — which makes each logo change colors in different lighting. One moment, the logos might appear gold, and the next, blue, purple, or even green. Interstellar is the only paint in the ICON series with this dynamic, color-shifting capability.
