Why Challenger - Stryke?

Stryke isn't just the name of a new bike from Challenger — it's the return of Challenger, a Thai bicycle brand many riders once knew, coming back with the same intention that has never changed.

How Stryke Came to Be?

Decades ago, Mr. Natee, founder of Probike and the Challenger bicycle brand, was someone deeply immersed in the cycling world his whole life. He rode regularly, and held onto one intention that never faded — wanting Thai people to have a local brand bicycle with good quality, one that could stand alongside brands from Europe and America. That was the small beginning that brought the Challenger project back.

With over a decade of experience in which Mr. Natee had put his work into many generations of Challenger bikes — enough that people of that era used to say it was “the bicycle every home needed” — this comeback was never going to be easy. It wasn't just about getting people to notice this brand again, but about making people want to own one again.

Amid the carbon fiber trend the market favors, Challenger chose a different path. To Mr. Natee, Cyclist aren't just customers — they're like friends, like family met again and again along the road. Value and heartfelt worth became what mattered more to us, and the answer that came closest to that question was — “Metal.”

Why Launch With Titanium?

Titanium is a metal many know to be valuable in its own right. But building a good titanium bicycle is not something we'd dare call easy.

We didn't hire a factory that already makes titanium bikes and simply put the Challenger badge on them, nor did we borrow the shape or frame proportions popular in the market as a template. Everything gradually came from over and over decade of experience as one of the earliest titanium bicycle manufacturers in Thailand.

The harder question was how to make today's Challenger both a performance bike and one with real heartfelt value. So we quietly designed and tested, behind the scenes, for more than 2 years — until, at last, the most complete version of Challenger - Stryke we could manage came into being.

This is only the first metal we launched, there are more metal projects we're quietly developing behind the scenes.
